Handmade sustainable bags with impact.
From marketplaces in Uganda to your everyday adventures, our fair-trade bags blend artisan craftsmanship with purpose: for every bag you carry, a child gets a SeatPack.
Our Journey from Kampala to You
Zetu Africa began in a bustling Kampala market stall, where our founders discovered the power of local craftsmanship and the meaning of our name, “Zetu,” Swahili for “our.”
From that first sale, we’ve grown: funding our inaugural SeatPack donation in 2020, expanding into new styles, and welcoming artisan partners across Uganda.
Today, we’re proud to work with over 50 artisan families, delivering ethically made bags worldwide from our London headquarters.

Making Change, One Bag at a Time
At Zetu Africa, every bag you buy funds a SeatPack, a schoolbag that transforms into a chair and desk so children have a comfortable place to learn.

Zetu Africa has changed the way I see bags. It’s not just a bag, it’s a statement of purpose.
